Product Description:

This Old Grout’s Easy Etch removes grout and mortar smears, mineral deposits and rust stains from tile and grout.  This industrial strength concentrated acid based tile and grout cleaner is specially formulated to etch and clean grout to bond with This Old Grout’s Stain Sealer.  Use on acid-resistant tile, stone or masonry surfaces.  This product is not for use on natural flagstone, marble travertine, limestone or any other acid sensitive surface.  A pre-test for resistance should be performed prior to use.  Coverage depend on porosity of substrate: 1000-10000 sq.ft./gallon.

Product Directions:

1.  Sweep or vacuum surface to remove loose debris.
2.  Dilute Easy Etch with water depending on cleaning task.

LIGHT CLEANING: Mix 1 part with 5 parts water.
MEDIUM CLEANING: Mix 1 part with 3 parts water.
HEAVY CLEANING: Mix 1 part with 2 parts water.

3.  Apply solution to area and allow to dwell 3-5 minutes for cleaning.

DO NOT allow to dry on surface.

4.  Agitate with sponge mop, soft bristle brush or scrub machine.
5.  Mop up dirty solution and rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove residual cleaner.
6.  Dry surface with terry cloth towel.
